Connect an AI agent

Jobwright runs a local agent. A browser chat or a desktop chat app does not replace this agent.

Open an agent guide and use the command for your computer. Windows commands use PowerShell. Do not install the agent only in WSL.

Choose the account you already use

Your provider controls plan access, models, billing, and usage limits. Jobwright checks only that the local agent is installed, signed in, and compatible.

ChatGPT

Install Codex. Sign in with ChatGPT. Then choose ChatGPT in Jobwright. You do not need an API key when your ChatGPT plan includes Codex access.

Install Claude Code. Sign in with Claude. Then choose Claude in Jobwright. Anthropic decides which plans include Claude Code.

Install OpenCode. Run /connect and choose your model provider. Then choose OpenCode in Jobwright.

Install Antigravity. Sign in with Google. Then choose Antigravity in Jobwright.

DeepSeek

Install OpenCode. Connect DeepSeek and choose a DeepSeek model. Then choose OpenCode in Jobwright. A DeepSeek chat subscription is not the same as API access.

Kimi / Moonshot

Install OpenCode. Connect Moonshot AI and choose a Kimi model. Then choose OpenCode in Jobwright. Kimi chat access might not include API access.

GLM / Z.AI

Install OpenCode. Connect Z.AI and choose a GLM model. Then choose OpenCode in Jobwright. Use the Z.AI Coding Plan option when it matches your plan.

Cursor

Install Cursor Agent. Sign in with Cursor. Then choose Cursor in Jobwright. Cursor decides which plans include command-line use.

Jobwright does not receive your provider password, API key, payment details, or recovery codes. Sign-in stays with the provider.

Direct Kimi CLI, Qwen Code, Qoder CLI, Codebuddy Code, MiMo Code, and AtomCode support is not available in this release. Use OpenCode for provider access where OpenCode supports it.

For OpenCode, start the local agent and open its provider connection menu:

Connect the local agent

Use the same agent that you installed and signed in to above.

1. Open Jobwright and continue to agent setup.
2. Choose the same local agent that you installed.
3. If it does not appear, open Settings, choose Local agents, and select Rescan.
4. Complete the provider sign-in if Jobwright reports that it is missing.
5. Continue when Jobwright marks the agent as ready.

A browser chat or desktop chat app does not replace the local agent that Jobwright runs.
