Privacy model
Your job search stays yours.
Jobwright runs on your device. Candidate content is not copied to Jobwright servers as analytics. The public website uses limited Google Analytics events only after you allow them.
What stays on your device
Jobwright stores the working copy of your job search on your device.
- Your profile, facts, preferences, and policies.
- Your CVs, letters, answers, and supporting evidence.
- Your saved jobs, search state, applications, and workflow history.
- Cookies, cache, and site data from the managed browser.
When data leaves your device
A task can send data to an external service when that service is needed. The external service processes the data under its own terms.
- Your chosen AI provider receives prompts through the account and subscription that you control.
- A connected service receives the data needed for the command that you run.
- A job site receives page requests and form data while Jobwright prepares an application.
- Review mode waits for your confirmation. Search & Apply can submit under an active campaign mandate that you accepted.
What Jobwright services receive
Stripe collects your email and payment details. The Jobwright license service stores the purchase, customer email, license status, and active device binding.
The update service handles the requests needed to check for and download software updates.
After you allow analytics, the public website can send a canonical page location and an allowed product action to Google Analytics. It removes URL queries and does not send form text, account details, or candidate content.
Google can process standard request and device data under its terms. Jobwright sets GA4 event and user data retention to two months.
- Public website analytics only under the published data contract.
- No session replay.
- No candidate content in analytics or diagnostics.
Your controls
Jobwright keeps the important controls inside the desktop app.
- Export your local candidate data and evidence.
- Delete your local candidate data and documents.
- Clear cookies, cache, and site data from the managed browser.
- Allow, decline, or change public website analytics. Declining clears readable Google Analytics cookies and stops future events on that browser.
- Choose Review, or issue, pause, and revoke a bounded Search & Apply mandate.
